2014 House of Arras Blanc de Blancs
Trophy for Best Sparkling White or Rose
- National Wine Show 2023
Gold & 95 points - Queensland Royal Wine Show 2022
Gold & 95 points - The Sparkling Wine Show 2022
Golds & 95 points - The Sydney Royal Wine Show 2022
95 points Wine Enthusiast
Showing the lovely lemony vibrancy typical to Chardonnay in Tasmania's cool climate, this is bright, citrusy and, at first, stiff, but equally, it's rich and lactic, like peaches and cream, with white pepper, toast and flint tucked beneath. It's wonderfully fresh and youthful with tight, fine, long-lasting beads of bubbles, a creamy mousse and pulsing lemony acidity through to the long finish. Arguably the most austere wine in the Arras line up but it is a cracker nonetheless.
