99 Points Luca Gardini, The Wine Killer
Coming from a unique plot with plants of about 30 years and calcareous clay soils, a wine of structure and tension, a nose of red mulberry, with hints of liquorice powder and lavender. The mouthfeel is savory, recalls of nuances of red fruit, with officinal touches. The finish has a floral hint.

97 Points Audrey Frick, jebdunnuck.com
Coming from the hill of La Morra (the fresher corner of the Barolo region), the nose of the 2020 Barolo Ravera boasts a lovely complete bouquet of licorice, rose petal, and fresh cherries, with a bright lift. Raised only in large cask, this medium-bodied Barolo is refined on the palate, with fine tannins, a silky mouthfeel, and a balanced and harmonious feel. It offers a Burgundian aesthetic and a long, graceful
finish.

96 Points Zekun Shuai, jamessuckling.com
Perfumed, composed and agile with notes of cherries, wild strawberries, white pepper, frozen raspberries, dried flowers and some stones. Full-bodied with fine, chalky tannins and crisp acidity. Bright and vertical with controlled power throughout. Textural and subtle. Great tension and energy on the mid-palate and onto the long, focused finish. From organically grown grapes.

95 Points Monica Larner, The Wine Advocate
The Vietti 2020 Barolo Ravera offers dark fruit, cherry and blackcurrant enhanced by soft spice. You also get a sun-kissed note of eggplant, tomato leaf and ferrous earth. Ravera displays strong lines with good acidity and firm tannic backbone. It closes dry and ages in large oak botte only. This is one of the most eyeballed MGAs sites. Ravera, with its open mountain skyline and cool temperatures, is seen as one of the best sites in the appellation, especially as the climate changes. This vintage produced exactly 10,026 bottles.

94 Points Jeff Porter, Wine Enthusiast
The nose is immediately captivating, offering a blend of black macerated cherries and a unique crushed vitamin note, complemented by delicate baby roses and fresh green herbs. On the palate, the wine showcases a robust structure, with firm and chewy tannins that grip the tongue. As the wine opens, its true potential is revealed.

94 Points Antonio Galloni, vinous.com
Picked on October 9, the 2020 Barolo Ravera has plenty of Rovera classicism and tension, but also feels a bit light in the mid-palate. Ravera is never a huge wine in body, but the depth is often there, even if expressed in an understated and more linear manner. The 2020 lacks that depth. Red-toned fruit, blood ordin ge, mint, spice and white pepper lend brilliance throughout.
