Very big, voluptuous and densely packed in the mouth (coming in at 17% declared alcohol), it offers a multilayered powerhouse of spice and dried fruit flavors with very crisp acid to enliven and a medium to firm level of grainy tannins to lend support. It finishes very long, spicy and a little warm. Drinking very well now, it should cellar to 2022+.
