1988 Penfolds 'Bin 95' Grange Shiraz - Museum Collection
94 Points - Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front
Sweet hit of fruity blackberry through the palate, bolstered by mint and blackcurrant. Regulation fruit flavour, prettied up by rose-like nuances. I very much like the tannin structure of this wine. It gives it a sense of aristocracy. Apart from the gentle run of mint, I reckon this is a very fine Grange. Elegant, lingering, structured and controlled.
91 Points - The Wine Front
A rich wine that never forgets to be elegant, this is plush, focused and generous with its berry, plum and anise flavors that remain sweet and supple through the long finish.
