‘Sparkling’ Chenin 2023 (New Release), Our Price $27
A sparkling wine that shows what a good variety chenin is for turning into sparkling wine. This has slightly more fruit generosity than previous vintages but still retains that bracing crispness and fruit energy. Careful not to chill it too much otherwise you might lose those beautiful aromatics and palate flavours.

1st Course
Sauvignon Blanc Semillon 2023, Our Price $21
A lot of texture and flavour going hand-in-hand to make this a very appealing drink. Smoky, grassy, lots of citrus, especially makrut lime leaves and Tahitian lime juice, hay and a refreshing juiciness across the palate. Some oak influence adding tannins and spice while bolstering the palate. A super-smart drink.
95 Points Jane Faulkner, Halliday Wine Companion
Chenin Blanc 2023, Our Price $24
One of the better chenin Blancs from Voyager Estate to date as it has flavour and richness but stays neatly in the dry spectrum. Poached pears and quince, lemon balm and lime curd with an intriguing waft of lanolin and the tug of phenolics add to the palate’s shape. There’s refreshment throughout but also depth. Lovely.

Manchego croquettes, white balsamic pearls
2nd Course
‘Coastal’ Chardonnay 2023, Our Price $26
Estate Chardonnay 2022, Our Price $50
A pure and almost pristine chardonnay from one of the region's best. Minerally with a citrus and sliced pear nuance on the nose. It's crunchy with spicy green apple and cinnamon characters on the palate. The integration of oak and fruit hits it right on the money. Very long finish.

Abrolhos half shell scallops, sambal butter
3rd Course
‘MJW’ Chardonnay 2021, Our Price $102
A wine that reaches into the best parcels of fruit in the best years. It was a good year for white wines in Margaret River and this superbly crafted modern-style chardonnay captures it. Fine and delicate with chalky minerally edges to the fine mix of pear and cut lime that sit across the melon and lightly roasted cashew. A little brioche brings further complexity. A mighty fine wine.

Museum Chardonnay 2018, Our Price $80
Four clones, four estate blocks, four tonnelleries and innumerable vinification approaches. This lends substance to the number of newly created labels; here the acidity sends a farewell lift to the finish and aftertaste. Length, life and grace.
95 Points James Halliday, Halliday Wine Companion
Shiitake and potato pave, salsa verde
4th Course
Coastal Cabernet Sauvignon 2021, Our Price $26
A vibrant and juicy young cabernet with so much appeal. Bright red fruit notes on the nose with a delicious red fruity palate delivering plenty. Chalky fine tannin and just a smidgeon oak to underpin the fruit combine to produce a wine for drinking over the next few years.
92 Points Ray Jordan, rayjordanwine.com.au
‘The Modern’ Cabernet Sauvignon 2020, Our Price $40
Good depth and brightness to the colour. The bouquet is appealing, heralding the juicy cassis fruit of the palate. The finish with no tannins to mumble over. Ditto overall balance.

Voyager Estate Cabernet Sauvignon 2020, Our Price $80
The tension of tannin and shape (North Block) is offset by the prettiness of fruit (Old Block), and it comes together in a harmonious display of season, with cassis, raspberry, licorice, star anise, fennel seeds, tobacco leaf and brine, also some graphite and charcoal, some nori. The tannins are fine and quite firm, and this may bode well for the future; however, it could make it firm drinking in the short term. If you choose to drink this wine early (i.e., any time before 2029 when it will likely come into its own), then I must insist on a decant, in order to soften the impact of the wine in the mouth and to allow the fruit and tannins to properly meld. Great stuff here.

Angus a la minute, green peppercorn butter, leafy greens
5th Course
MJW’ Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 (New Release), Our Price $151
Voyager Estate Museum Cabernet Sauvignon 2014, Our Price $102
90% cabernet sauvignon, 6% merlot and 4% petit verdot. Deep, bright purple-crimson hue; the expressive indeed, perfumed bouquet points the way for the elegant medium-bodied palate, where juicy fruit, oak and tannins are fused seamlessly together. An appropriate wine for Voyager's 40th anniversary, certain to celebrate its 50th. The difficulty will be keeping your hands off it.
