1st Course
Chardonnay "Parterre" 2021, Our Price $54
Gold Medal - Decanter World Wine Award 2023
Gold Medal – James Halliday Chardonnay Challenge 2023
Punchy nose with butterscotch and buttercups with honeyed nuances and hints of mango and ripe limes. Silky luxurious mouthfeel, with a mellow texture. Pithy finish.
96 Points Devanter World Wine Awards 2023
Clive Otto, winemaker at Fraser Gallop, is responsible for the pristine, pure and very fine-boned house style of Chardonnay that they are becoming known for. Couple this with the cooler year that was 2021, and we are met by a wine with poise, precision and finesse in spades. What a beauty the 2021 Parterre Chardonnay is. Juicy, glass-shard acidity is couched in very soft, enveloping orchard fruit, and spooling out through the finish is a string of briney acidity. This is a gorgeous wine, perhaps shorter lived than some of its predecessors, but it will never hang around long enough for us to find out. Handpicked, whole-bunch pressed Gingin clone, fermented wild in French oak (60/40 puncheons and barriques), matured for 10 months (33% new).

Chardonnay "Parterre" 2022, Our Price $49
Delicate aroma of peach skin, palate offers so much more. Rich sweet ripe tropical stone fruit, savoury minerals and baking spice. Well balanced with good body and crisp freshness. Pink grapefruit and salty lime appear at the succulent lengthy finish

“Best in Show” Decanter World Wine Award 2020
In a great year for Chardonnay in our competition, this Western Australian example stood out for its sheer assurance and class, as well as for the intelligence of its approach: perfectly judged ripeness and skilful vinification are both amply in evidence here. It's a pale green-gold in colour, with aromas of serene classicism: wafting early-season orchard fruits and just a little creamy summer stonefruit too. Tapered, refined, enticing. On the palate, the wine is soft yet poised; it has great innate flavour complexity without any sense of strain, labour or effort: a deft and seamless mouthful which nonetheless impresses by its finishing complexity. We've always known that Margaret River can make great Chardonnay: here's yet more proof in a balanced, contemporary style which sings.

Chardonnay "Palladian” 2021, Our Price $121
Gold Medal – James Halliday Chardonnay Challenge 2023
Gold Medal – James Halliday Chardonnay Challenge 2022
James Suckling Top 100 Wines 2022

...This is marvelous— produced in a vintage that was challenging for many (cool, poorly timed weather events) but successful for the balance. The low-alcohol, earlier-picked style of the Palladian (12.5% alcohol this year) brings a level of finesse and precision that, in this glass, makes for mouthwatering drinking. An exemplar wine that shows the elegance and tension that Margaret River Chardonnay (particularly those made by the Gingin clone) is so capable of. 250 dozen.

Chardonnay "Palladian" 2022, Our Price $121
So much going on here, from hazelnuts, lemon curd, salted caramel and baked apples to toasted brioche on the nose. It’s full-bodied, buttery and delicious, with lively, bright acidity. Intense. I like the salty caramel undertones on the long and sophisticated finish. Drink or hold. Screw cap.

3rd Course
“Innovation” Cabernet Sauvignon 'New Release' 2022, Our Price $31
Cabernet Sauvignon "Parterre" 2020, Our Price $51
This is predominantly cabernet but smaller percentages of petit verdot, cabernet franc and malbec contribute. Powerful and controlled cabernet displaying a lot of the black fruit character of this part of Margaret River. On the nose you get a terrific mix of bay leaf, black olive and varietal blackcurrant. There's a pronounced oyster shell minerality bursting through supported by a chalky tannin feel. Integrated and vibrant, it's a wine of energy and drive
96 Points Ray Jordan, rayjordanwine.com
Cabernet Sauvignon "Parterre" 2018, Our Price $65
Gold Medal - Decanter World Wine Award 2022
Assured and poised, with hints of truffle within the spiced dark fruits and brambly berries. The tannins are fine and the oak spice wonderfully integrated, while the long finish is pretty much perfect.
96 Points Decanter World Wine Award 2022

4th Course
Cabernet Sauvignon ‘Parterre" – Magnum 2012, Our Price $152
An estate-grown and bottled cabernet, including 7% petit verdot and 4% each of merlot and malbec. It has considerable attitude, with crisply detailed and framed flavours that progressively gain velocity as they move across the palate towards the emphatic, balanced, finish.
96 Points James Halliday, Halliday Wine Companion
Cabernet Sauvignon ‘Parterre" – Magnum 2010, Our Price $162
The wine is in fact 87% cabernet sauvignon, the rest petit verdot, malbec, merlot and cabernet franc. It has excellent, bright crimson colour, its high quality evident from the first whiff of the bouquet, and built on by the palate; perfectly ripened blackcurrant fruit is the driver, with tannins and fully integrated, fine French oak bringing up the rear. So perfectly balanced, it will likely be drunk long before its natural best-by date.
95 Points James Halliday, Halliday Wine Companion
Cabernet Sauvignon ‘Parterre" – Magnum 2009, Our Price $171
Trophy - Best Red Wine of Show & Best Single Vineyard Estate
Margaret River Wine Show 2010

Gold – International Wine ans Spirit Competition 2011
Best in Class -
International Wine and Spirit Competition 2011
This has all these attributes, layers of pomegranate, raspberry, red licorice, salt bush, cassis and peppercorn. A beautiful wine, with a proven track record for graceful ageing. This vintage will be no exception.
96 Points Erin Larkin, Halliday Wine Companion

5th Course
Cabernet Sauvignon "Palladian" 2020, Our Price $121
It has all the hallmarks of a long-lived wine yet shows off its immediate appeal with lovely aromatics and beautiful fruit. A perfect combo of florals, wood spice, cassis and black olives with a touch of nori and iron all encased in a savoury overlay. The fuller-bodied palate is firm from youth yet the precision tannins, all textural and detailed, unfurl in time and entice more. It finishes dry and convincingly, and the flavours linger long.
96 Points Jane Faulkner, Halliday Wine Companion
Cabernet Sauvignon "Palladian" 2019, Our Price $121
This is right up there with any 2019 vintage cabernet I have tasted from Margaret River. There’s power in spades, but it delivers with finesse and stylish refinement. Leafy black olive and dark fruits mingle in an exciting bouquet. Then the palate delivers with gathering momentum as it drives long. This is a classy cabernet.
97 Points Ray Jordan
