Big, full, ripe, soft and plump. Within all that, it is restrained and textured. It is balanced, seamless and long. This is unusually made, as far as we can tell, by the extraordinary winemaking team at Chanzy in Chassagne Montrachet. Brilliant finish and aftertaste. 18.5 points, JJ
